This is a 4-skill integrated course. The course aims to help learners learn lots of useful words through studying Word Roots and some reading strategies and to practice listening and speaking skills which they are likely to need while traveling or doing business with foreigners.

Students can learn
1. how to write letters, autobiography and resume:
2. to use English to discuss popular issues;
3. reading strategies;
4. some knowledge about well-known novels of the world;
5. lots of useful words through studying Word Roots

Calculating percentage:
20% for midterm exam;
35% for final exam;(Whoever misses more than five times of classes can't take the final exam!)
25% for quizzes and class performance;
20% for class attendance and homework.
